Want to ring in the New Year in style this year? Come to Breckenridge, Colorado to see one of the most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations in the country. The festivities kick off at 6pm with the annual Torch Light Parade as skiers and snowboarders from the Breckenridge Ski Resort wind down the mountain from the top of Peak 9 in a luminary procession to The Village at Breckenridge.

Following the Torch Light Parade, everyone moves to the Riverwalk Center for the sounds of YAMN, one of Colorado’s premier progressive jam bands. On Saturday November 13, 2010 the Friends of the CAIC hold their third annual Benefit Bash to benefit the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC). This year’s event will be held at the Riverwalk Center in downtown Breckenridge and there will be live music, plenty of food and beer, a silent auction and door prizes to the lucky winners.
