Ullr Fest. It is a week when the Town of Breckenridge is turned upside down and the party begins. It is the annual tradition of celebrating Ullr, the Norse god of snow. He was known to travel across the land on his skis and skates. The locals ask for the snow god to blanket the county with additional white, fluffy stuff. As you stroll through town, it is a common sight to see people wearing their Viking hats with horns.
Adventure Journal just published an article on “8 Awesome Traditional of Mountain Towns.” The great thing about living in a mountain town is that people come from all over the world with different traditions and festivities.
