Hard to imagine this is the last week of February. March is just days away. Mardi Gras is just around the corner. If you are a Mardi Gras enthusiast, I would encourage you to celebrate in Breckenridge this year. From March 1st- March 4th, make sure you have your beads, boas, and masks. Come celebrate the occasion, mountain style! This Saturday, March 1st, the annual Mardi Gras ball will be held at the Beaver Run Resort. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. the ballroom is converted into a true New Orleans atmosphere. Be ready to dance and enjoy drinks and authentic New Orleans cuisine. Come dressed up with masks, beads, and boas! Breckenridge has received record amounts of snow this season. And with all this snow, it is hard to imagine packing the sunscreen for a spring break party. Breckenridge Ski Resort has announced that they will be hosting the Breck Spring Fever 2014! This is one of the largest spring break celebrations in the high country. The month long spring break party will start on March 22nd and continue through closing day on April 20th, 2014.

Breck Spring Fever will have more than 40 events that will take place on the mountain and in town. You will also be able to benefit from some of the best snow in Colorado. The highly anticipated weekend has arrived. News about the big game is posted everywhere you turn. The Denver Broncos versus the Seattle Seahawks. The governor made a proclamation that tomorrow, the Colorado's 14ers will be renamed with a Bronco's player. The state has turned blue and orange! Super Bowl Sunday is tomorrow.

If you are planning on watching the Super Bowl in Breckenridge and the surrounding areas, here are a few recommendations.
