Breckenridge Ski Resort is the only stop for the Winter Dew Tour Mountain Championships.  Come check out the fun from December 11th - December 14th, as world class skiers and snowboarders take on the world renowned half pipe on Peak 8.  The event includes ski and snowboard superpipe and slopestyle competitions.  The Dew Tour is in its seventh year of taking over the Breckenridge Ski Resort and over four days, there are a ton of fun activities, including concerts and times to meet the competitors!  You don't want to miss out on the fun.

Breckenridge Ski Resort just announced the opening day!  This Friday, November 14th, the 2014/2015 ski season officially begins.  Coloradoans know where to find the best powder.  Just an hour and a half west of Denver, you have access to a multitude of ski resorts, such as Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Winter Park.   But Breckenridge Ski Resort is among one of the favorites of skiers and snowboarders.  Breckenridge has a loyal following with those from Colorado, Texas, and the Midwest.  And if you are looking to follow some of the best local skiing, lodging, dining, and shopping, Breck (as the locals call it) will have you covered!

Bring on the snow! This fall we have had warmer than normal temperatures and a dry spell. Because of Mother Nature, Breckenridge had to reschedule their opening day, moving it from November 7th to a date still waiting to be determined. Officials for the resort are hoping to announce opening day in the near future, so make sure to check back to get the latest news! Breckenridge Ski Resort was not the only resort to delay opening. Keystone and Copper Mountain had a one-week delay in their opening from November 1st to November 7th. Winter Park will be opening three days later, on November 13th. A-Basin and Loveland have been open for almost a month and they are starting to open more terrain, with top-to-bottom ski access. Don't fret! Just because we are
