Ride the Rockies

There is no better way to celebrate the end of the ski season than by an afternoon filled with sunshine, craft beers, and local eats. 2018's fest will head back to Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge off Park Ave with a brand new layout ensure the best flow through the beer stations. Hosted by KSMT “The Mountain”, this year’s beer fest will have over 40 breweries with favorites such as Left Hand Brewing Company, Bonfire Brewing, Eddyline Brewery, Fate Brewing Company, and countless other Rocky Mountain local breweries.

Helly Hansen Big Mountain Challenge

The first of two installments of the Helly Hansen Big Mountain Challenge Regional, located at Breckenridge, hits the slopes this March 17 and 18th. As part of the Rocky Mountain Freeride Series, this IFSA sanctioned event allows big mountain skiers under the age of 18 test their skills on a challenging portion of Breckenridge’s Peak 6. The Sixth Senses area of Peak 6 features incredibly steep lines, tight chutes, and large cliff drops.

Come February 13, all of Breckenridge will be overrun with vibrant colors, decorative masks, boas, and endless strings of beads. Mardi Gras in Breckenridge is an impressive decorative feat that locals love to partake in and visitors travel from near and far to enjoy.

Kick-off the celebration with the annual Mardi Gras Tailgate at Main Street Station (2:30-4:30), sure to be filled with local restaurants showcasing their creole cuisine and free, live music. It's time to celebrate SNOW! Breckenridge locals and visitors rally together at the most iconic winter event of the year to honor and celebrate Ullr, the Norse God of Snow. Keeping with tradition, Ullr showers his love of releasing infinite piles of snow only when Breck's celebration provides him with plenty of entertainment. This year will mark the 55th anniversary and will commence January 10! The three day event is filled with everything from classic winter events to crazy showings of our love for all things Ullr: the Ullr Ice Plunge, the World's Longest Shot Ski, crowning King & Queen, the Hangover Breakfast and family Snow Day.
