Final Weekend of the 24th Annual Summit County Parade of Home This Weekend
The 24th annual Summit County Parade of Homes will continue this weekend but the Summit Builders Association has already handed out this year’s awards.
Like usual, single-family homes were divided into several different categories based square feet, then judged on eight different factors that include best exterior design and elevation, best kitchen, best master bedroom, best interior finish, best interior furnishings, best landscaping and outdoor living space, best builder concept and workmanship, and best overall home.
Per the Summit Daily News, here are a few highlights:
173 Campion Trail, Breckenridge won all criteria for Category 1, which included a home under 4,000 square feet.
Category 3 included homes between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet, and this year, four different homes were features. 1280 Golden Eagle Road won best exterior design and elevation; 35 Hermit Drive won best kitchen, 964 Discovery Hill Drive won best interior finishes; and 35 Hermit Drive also won the builder concept and workmanship award.
This year’s best overall home went to 964 Discovery Hill Drive.
