More Terrain Opening this Weekend

Early ski season is off to a great start thanks to the snow god Ullr.  Over the weekend, Breckenridge Ski Resort reported 15 inches of new snow.  And today, the snow god is still helping us out.  The skies are cloudy and the snowflakes keep falling.  With plenty of natural snow falling from the skies, Breckenridge Ski Resort is able to open up Peak 9, starting November 23rd.  Guests can expect full service, including dining at Ten Mile Station and The Maggie.  From the Quiksilver lift, you will be able to access Silverthorne, King's way, and Crosscut.  The lower half of the Sawmill Run will be accessible from the Snowflake lift.  The Super 8 connect will also start service so that skiers and snowboarders are able to go back and forth between Peak 8 and Peak 9.

With the new terrain opening this weekend, it will help spread out the crowds over the holiday week.  Breckenridge Ski Resort will have about 380 skiable acres available starting this weekend.  This is the kickoff to the holiday season!  From now until mid-April, Breckenridge Main Street will be bustling with people, the snow will keep on falling, and the winter wonderland that I call home will be shared with many.
