More Terrain Opening this Weekend
Early ski season is off to a great start thanks to the snow god Ullr. Â Over the weekend, Breckenridge Ski Resort reported 15 inches of new snow. Â And today, the snow god is still helping us out. Â The skies are cloudy and the snowflakes keep falling. Â With plenty of natural snow falling from the skies, Breckenridge Ski Resort is able to open up Peak 9, starting November 23rd. Â Guests can expect full service, including dining at Ten Mile Station and The Maggie. Â From the Quiksilver lift, you will be able to access Silverthorne, King's way, and Crosscut. Â The lower half of the Sawmill Run will be accessible from the Snowflake lift. Â The Super 8 connect will also start service so that skiers and snowboarders are able to go back and forth between Peak 8 and Peak 9. Â
With the new terrain opening this weekend, it will help spread out the crowds over the holiday week. Â Breckenridge Ski Resort will have about 380 skiable acres available starting this weekend. Â This is the kickoff to the holiday season! Â From now until mid-April, Breckenridge Main Street will be bustling with people, the snow will keep on falling, and the winter wonderland that I call home will be shared with many. Â
