Summit County Market Update: June 2018

Breckenridge Homes For SaleWith the final month of the second quarter now officially in the books, we thought we’d look back to see how the Summit County real estate market fared in June of 2018.

According to data from the Summit Association Realtors MLS, 171 residential transactions were recorded during June, which is actually down 5 percent compared to June 2017.

Despite overall transaction volume sliding a bit, sales volume was up 9 percent from this time last year, bringing Summit County year-to-date sales to $543,856,420.

Luxury home sales in Summit County, which represents the sale of any property $1 million and up,  also spiked 117 percent in June, increasing from 18 luxury home sales in June 2017 to 39 during this past month.

Inventory is also up slightly as well, which is great news for anyone still looking to buy. At the end of June, 723 properties were listed for sale in Summit County, which were broken down into 527 residential properties and 196 homesites.

Properties in Summit County also sold for 98 percent of the list price in June, and in just 39 days on average as well.
